Weight Loss Mystery -- Some Weight Loss Tips

Why am I not losing weight? This question you will ask for decades! All your self control and discipline is not helping you lose weight.

 

I am with Adinath Kothare, a well known Marathi actor.  You can see his level of fitness and mine!

 

Here are notes and tips. (in nor particular order)

 

See if they are helpful. 

 

1. Hara hachi bun me

Japanese technique known as “hara hachi bun me” meaning stop when you are 80% full.  

 

2. Chew your food well.

 

3. Eat with family.

4. Avoid TV and other distractions. 

5. Eat in a small plate. 

6. Eat slowly. Ideally, spend 20 minutes on a meal.

It takes about 20 minutes for your body to realize that you are in a fed state.


That was me 7 years ago in 2013. I feel I look exactly the same today. I do not weight nor less.

This was after a cricket match. Galli cricket! Society compound cricket!

Every year we gain about 1 kg. We lose muscles as we age and our metabolism gets slower.

 

I must have read at least a 100 books on weight loss, diet, food, and nutrition. That is the secret of my not gaining weight. Which is an achievement too. Maintaining weight over the years is a BIG FAT achievement!
